My daughter Frankie and I took our bikes down to Bradford Beach over the weekend. Milwaukee County Parks have done an amazing job at Bradford. From the hundreds of people playing beach volleyball to the Tiki bar to the great fish tacos at the Pavillion, Bradford Beach is the place to hang out on a hot summer day in Milwaukee.
The rain garden at Bradford treats storm run-off to help keep the beach clean and improve water quality.
The bike racks were all full so we had to lock to the railing, which was also pretty full. Full bike racks are a nice problem to have.
Hey – that’s not the correct bolt securing the Shimano bar-end shifter! You are living dangerously.
