Jeff Littmann died yesterday as a result of injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car while on a training ride in Waukesha County. I only rode with Jeff a handful of times, but in those few rides it was impossible not to be impressed with his positive energy. By all accounts, the local cycling community has lost a great ambassador for the sport and a super human being. My prayers and thoughts are with Jeff, his family and close friends. While the sadness is real and almost palpable due to the size of Jeff’s personality, we can take some solace in the thought that he died doing something he loved on a beautiful day with a good friend next to him.
The world is a little bit better place because you were a part of it. Thank you Jeff, and goodbye.
