Lunch hour sharing: Streetfilms NYC commute

I ran across this great video that parallels my experience riding in NYC.  I also took the Kent Ave. bike lanes and Pulaski Bridge when I was there.  I opted for the Williamsburg Bridge instead of the Manhattan Bridge featured in this film.  This video emphasizes the key to NYC DOT’s success at attracting new people to cycling: protected bike lanes. It makes me want to go back to New York to try out some of the stuff I missed.

As I have said before, Streetfilms is a great organization based out of NYC that creates really informative videos about livable cities around the world. Take some time to look over their videos, really cool stuff. You can donate to Streetfilms if you want to support their work.
