You are invited to dine with the Cycloczar of Copenhagen, the Dave of Denmark,
the world-famous Andreas Røhl, head of Bicycle Programs in the City of Copenhagen, Denmark. Andreas has helped build a bicycle revolution in Copenhagen and create one of the world’s great bicycle cities. Andreas will be the keynote speaker at the Wisconsin Bike Summit on April 19th, but you have the chance to hang Andreas and dine at the home of local bicycle bigwig, Chris Kegel, owner of Wheel and Sprocket, Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Bicycle Federation of WI, and general bicycle bigwig.
Chris lives in Mequon, and if my schedule permits, I plan in biking up there and back. If you are interested in pedaling along with me, let me know. There is a fee to attend, but the Bicycle Federation of WI is just trying to recover some of the money they are spending to bring Andreas over. I have been fetted at Chris’ house in the past, and I can tell you that you will certainly get your money’s worth of food and drink in addition to having a great time. If you would like to go, please register by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
If you want to see how what Andreas’ work has accomplished, take a look at the video below. It was shot by Joseph Peterangelo on a trip overseas to look at Cities with great bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.
