Detroit Bike City

This short video offers a wonderful insight into the grassroots rise of cycling in Detroit.  The video was first posted on Transport Michigan’s blog.  It highlights the multicultural nature of the Detroit cycling community, how collectives are filling the need for the lack of traditional bike shops in many areas (bike shop deserts) and the growing critical mass rides in the former Motor City. If they can do it in the (former) Motor City, you can do it anywhere you live in Wisconsin.
